Welcome to my Home Page.

If there is one thing I have learnt from being a parent it is that if you don't get a hold of your bad habits they will soon be your children's. Then how do you tell your children off for doing something they learnt from you.

Currently my life revolves around my children as I am a housewife. However that hasn't stopped me from developing my skills in IT and management. Every mother develops their management and negotiating skills just by dealing with the children. These skill can then be used when we return to work (after all men are only big kids at heart anyway). I am also a school Governor and I design web pages.

I became a Governor at my local nursery when my eldest son was there. My son had speech and socal delay, and the nursery were helping him to catch up. The staff at the nursery are wonderful and I decided to work with them in the best way I could. There is no special qualifications needed to become a governor only to have a interest in the work of the school, the teachers, and the children.

Before I had children I was an IT Manager responsible for the Students' PC service at a London university. Now I develop web pages and write javascipt in my spare time. Recently I have been trying out CSS3. Use Mozilla or Firefox 1.5 to see the full affect.

Furthermore I am a Christian and a member of Caversham Baptist Church.

I am a keen amature photographer. I own a Canon EOS D10 Digital Camera. Most of my shots are of my family, but I take countryside shots when ever possible. Any shots I place up on my webpage (not websites I have developed) are available for you to use - just credit me for the shot thanks.
